STARBURST!!

OK, this will be in place of the big post that was planned.... why "in place of"? Well, it has a sad ending.... I did not buy an arcade machine as planned. So, the goal was to get either a Neo Geo 4 Slot or a Capcom CPS2 machine, in good shape and ideally with a 25" monitor with no burn in.

The pictures tell a lot of the story, the day was as awesome as it was long, foolishly bookended by a few drinks. Sadly there were not a lot of games that fit the bill for me, in fact there were exactly 2 that I was a bit interested in... then one of them died right in front of me, not ideal... the last one had a problem with the monitor that I was just unwilling to put up with.

So, other than an interesting time and some QT with Dad and Chris my $90 in gas got me an old arcade token from the parking lot. Better luck next time!!
